STRUTS & BRACING SYSTEM
strutting system solutions
At EGF (Emirates German Foundation), we provide reliable Continuous Flight Auger (CFA) piling solutions for projects that require fast, efficient, and low-vibration foundation systems. CFA piles are a type of rotary bored pile constructed without the need for temporary casing or drilling fluid, making them suitable for a wide range of soil conditions and urban construction environments.
The strut and bracing process involves installing a temporary structural support system to stabilize excavation areas and retaining walls during construction. This method uses steel struts, walers, and bracing members to resist lateral earth pressure and maintain the safety of the excavation until the permanent structure is completed.
Once the retaining wall or excavation support system is in place, steel walers are fixed along the wall, and horizontal or inclined struts are installed between opposite sides of the excavation. These bracing elements transfer the ground pressure safely across the excavation, helping to prevent wall movement, soil collapse, and damage to nearby structures.
The installation, alignment, connection details, and loading condition of the strut and bracing system are carefully monitored and controlled throughout the construction process. This ensures proper support, excavation stability, worker safety, and reliable performance during each stage of the project.
With technical expertise, modern equipment, and strict quality control, EGF delivers strut and bracing works that are safe, efficient, and suitable for demanding excavation, shoring, and earth-retaining engineering projects.
