MICROPILE FOUNDATION SOLUTIONS
At EGF (Emirates German Foundation), we provide reliable Micropile foundation solutions for projects that require deep foundation support in restricted, challenging, or sensitive site conditions. Micropiles are small-diameter foundation elements, typically 300mm or less, installed using compact drilling rigs suitable for limited-access areas.
Once the desired depth is achieved, the auger is slowly lifted while rotating in reverse. At the same time, concrete is pumped through the hollow stem of the auger, filling the bore as the auger is withdrawn. This continuous process replaces the drilled soil with fresh concrete, forming a strong and stable pile foundation.
The drilling, auger extraction, and concreting process is monitored and controlled using onboard computerised instrumentation, ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency throughout the installation. This helps maintain proper pile depth, concrete flow, pressure, and overall construction performance.
