BORED PILE FOUNDATION SOLUTIONS

Bored piles are commonly used for high-rise buildings, bridges, infrastructure projects, marine structures, and developments where ground conditions require reliable foundation support.
The bored piling method involves drilling into the ground using suitable drilling tools such as buckets and/or augers. In many cases, a temporary casing is installed to support the upper soil layers and prevent collapse, especially in loose or water-bearing strata. The casing can be driven using vibratory hammers or installed by twisting it into position with the piling rig.
Depending on the required pile depth and ground conditions, drilling may continue below the casing in stable formations such as soft rock or cohesive soils. In unstable soil layers, bentonite or polymer support fluid may be used to stabilise the bore, particularly for deep and large-diameter piles.
Once the required depth is reached, reinforced steel cages are carefully lowered into the bore. Concrete is then placed to form a strong and durable foundation element capable of supporting heavy structural loads.
