A form of cast in situ piling which can be done using temporary or permanent casing to support bore hole. Casing can either be fixed using vibro hammer or rotary method.
This cast in situ process is suitable for soft ground. It is fast. emits lesser noise and an economical technique of piling.
The loading test shall consist of the application of the load placed upon a suitable platform supported by the pile, with suitable apparatus for accurately measuring the test load and the settlement of the pile under each increment of load.
this test is carried out to detemine faults in cast-in-place piles in order to assure that the piles is correctly constructed.
After installation of piles, this test determine the pile capacity soil resistance distribution and settlement characteristics to ensure that the pile undergoes the actual applied load and the settlement will br within the tolerable limits.
